The primary SEO tool for increasing traffic

Bloggers, webmasters, website owners, no one leaves the social book-marking and social networking options beyond their blog. The reason why they give so much importance to the sharing options is - not only sharing is beneficial for increasing your website traffic but also it helps to get your website optimized promptly. As an example, in the picture below you will see that the SEOMOZ site was on the first page of google results on the day of it's tweets. In easy words, for the keyword Beginner's guide, seomoz blog popped up at the first page of google results.

Therefore, I guess you don't have any confusion that google gives much importance to social networking and social book-marking sites for giving you the best results.

However, what is the most effective social networking site for SEO? Facebook? Twitter? or anything else? To me, it's Google+. You may ask - why?  Well, my answer is, google really gives importance to real people. If you have a google profile and if it seems totally real to google, then google will give enough importance to your profile and where you link to. Twitter is your second most effective SEO tool is Twitter. To prove this I will show you a little experiment. I am going to search my name in the web! Lets see what happens.

WOW!!! Twitter is over my google profile. But, I closed this Twitter account 2 months ago!!! So, without any doubt I can tell you that twitter is the most SEO friendly tool for your website.

Whatever, lets move to social book-marking tools or sites. There are many powerful social book-marking sites, such as Delicious, Digg, reddit, and etc. But amongst all of them, I think google bookmark is the most powerful. On the other hand, I found a great advantage, in fact, a great unexpected search result visibility while I shared my page link to Google Reader ! Yes, you may say that it's not a book-marking site and I don't have a chance to deny it as well. When I first shared my article link to Google Reader , I taged the link and I got surprised after only 2 hours! My article were appearing at the 2nd page of google search results before I shared the link on google reader. After I shared the link, it jumped 6 places to the 1st page (not only in my computer's results but also for others - as I confirmed by my friends computer)! I got 9 visitors in 2 hours from google to my one article only!

So, as of my many experiments, I found Google Reader as the best sharing option for my blog pages. Ultimately it also does some optimization for my blog. Hence, I must say Google Reader is the most effective social book-marking tool.Also, you may have seen the +1 effect on SEO. If you didn't then stay tuned.
