What Would Be The Best Place For My Articles?
By allmytricks
This article may not satisfy hubbers, because I guess, they know where they are! ;)
Writing a good article is an art where I am failing. But, it feels sad when I see all you mastermind people don't get the traffic that you deserve for your best articles. Are you confused about where to put your articles? Or, what would be the best place for your articles?
Using the best article directory but not getting the traffic?!!! Oh dang! Just leave the inefficient article directories!
Why I hate article directories?
Firstly, article directories takes your articles and makes money for their own! Is this fair to you? I guess NO. It's totally unfair, whereas many sites are offering money that are generated by your articles. Secondly, they don't have any network within their own directory. That sucks! Because it is not possible to optimize your every post; in fact, it is quite impossible to write brilliant eye-catching articles over and over again.
If article directories are not the place where I submit my articles, then where to submit my articles?
Along with articles directories are inefficient, these are the simple reasons pointed above. Lets bring it in a large view. Article Directories Versus hubpages or Squidoo. In the picture below I have compared the best article directories with Hubpages and Squidoo.
As I reckon these six sites are the best places where you would love to publish your articles. To me, suite101.com, ezinearticles.com, and webpronews.com are good, associatedcontent.com and squidoo.com are better, and hubpages.com is best, places where you can post your article. Well, you might get confused about why am I ranking them in three stages. See my analysis below, so that you don't need to remain confused any-more.
Suite101.com
A strong Article Directory with a PR 7 and PA of 86. Again inefficient ways of trafficking for the articles. On the other hand, they don't pay any set amount for 1000 pageviews and provides the writers a portion of their earning revenue. For more extent view about suite101.com you may click here and watch an entertaining comment debate.
ezinearticles.com
I guess I must not say many words about ezinearticles.com. This is the most renowned and well publicized article directory of today. Again, you will not get many traffic unless your articles appear on the search engine result pages (SERPS). Also, I guess they don't share the revenue they get from your articles.
Webpronews.com
I am not well familiar with this website. But I think they have a very good channels or systems for generating traffic for the articles in the site. But, the ads were freaking me out while I visited the site for the first time! I would call this site as an ad-site rather than a website. I think the site is cool because it has no problem with linking and offers do-follow link.
associatedcontent.com
In other words, this website can be called as Yahoo article directory. The most search engine friendly article directory as I reckon. It has good ways of publicising articles but some sort of inefficiency is still there, so that you may not acquire a good amount of traffic. They offer you the portion of earning that they get from your content. But, I don't think you will get much, because the ads they show between the contents may less attractive and not related. So, there would be less clicks and you will get less.
Squidoo.com
If you can get a good amount of traffic for your squidoo articles, then you may acquire a huge amount of earning. Because, the squidoo's adsense ads are perfectly relevant and customized to get highest possible clicks from the viewers. But, squidoo is pretty strict when it comes to using anchor text in the content. Also, there are not sufficient tools for writing good articles at squidoo when you are new.
hubpages.com
Kindly look at the picture above where I compared the sites. Have you seen the domain age of hubpages.com?! I barely could believe my eyes when I saw PR6 in 9 months! Let me tell you why.
The administration of hubpages is the best (at least for now). They have a nice and effective algorithm that provides hubbers and their contents a score! Hubbers get the score depending on to their contribution level and their contents get scores depending on the pageviews and others' responses to the content. They have a pretty good channels to get traffic for the articles within hubpages. Also, I guess you would love to see the picture below.
You are allowed to earn 100 percent of your work. Now you may say that I don't have Adsense account.
Write 5 good articles at hubpages. I guess then your sub-domain at hubpages will have over 100 pageviews a day. Now, apply for adsense by clicking here. I cannot guarantee you because I am not one of the adsense team. But I can assure you that 100 pageviews per day is enough for getting approved for an adsense account. Also, I recommend you to see the hub about How to get started earning money in HubPages.
Tip: If you have 300+ posts on your sub-domain, then you will get around $1 or above per click on the ads.
If you need more money, then you can activate your Amazon associates account and eBay capsules at your hub.
Coming back to the point, hubpages allows you to link freely. If you have another as I have the you are able to gather a good amount of high quality on-page backlinks for your blog. And when you will have the score of 75 or above then the links will be Do-follow.
Note: The quality of your content depends on your out bound links as well. So, don't link to any irrelevant pages or link farms.
To me hubpages is a mixture of blogger, Gravatar, and tumbler. But not exactly one of them.
After all that, I better to stay at hubpages. :)
Do you have any other sites that have better offerings than hubpages?

That was an easy to read and interesting hub. I agree with Ebower - you provided detailed explanations. Well-written; well done! Also nice to see the ages of some domains.
